I was born in Northern Virginia, and have been nearly a life-long resident of the area. Exceptions include a summer in France in 1991, and a year in college at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA. There, I studied French and Photography.

My first foray into the world of the internet happened while working at America Online, Inc. We can thank (or blame) Pamela Hichens for the introduction to HTML and graphic design (and subsequent addiction).

While I still enjoy my photographic pursuits, I am finding myself increasingly choosing the digital medium over print. At one point, this disturbed me. However, given that it seems the whole world is making a similar, slow shift, I've grown accustomed to no longer being such a "purist" in the field.

And the rest, as they say... is history.
