:: e x p o s u r e s :: One of the greatest gifts a parent can give a child is the gift of knowledge -- recounting stories of their childhood, their parents, times gone by and lessons learned. Too often, the value of that gift is overlooked, and the realizations are made too late. My mother's father used to say that "everyone has a little piece of heaven here on earth." My piece of heaven is right here in these images -- from the moment I focus my lens to the moment the freshly dried print is viewed for the first time outside of the yellow safelight of the darkroom.
